So do you think Euthanasia should be legalized in every state and made readily available to all who desire it?

Yes, if one has true and unconditional ownership of anything it is one's life. However the decision must not be influenced by hardship, help and counseling should be available to those seeking the easy way out. The elderly should have it without question.

Emotive subject. In my current state of mind, I'd say yes and yes more power to the elderly to be able to authorise their own termination at a certain point.

My mum has spent the last year in hospital in a vegetative state. In her will she has specified that she doesn't want to be kept alive if she ever got to that point, but all that means is that the doctors don't have to resuscitate her if she stops breathing etc.. As she's stable, she has to be fed, turned every two hours, her toiletry automated etc., she stays alive.

Yes to everything up until the end. If they don't wanna die then don't kill them. In my opinion though you should be allowed to kill yourself no matter the circumstances, it's actual illegal to attempt suicide (fucking retarded law).
