As an aside, this is one of the advantages to being a deist and not an atheist. Wink

I would be more scared of becoming a sadistic maniac's personal play thing (a la Buffalo Bill or Ramsay Snow) than of hell.

Sadists exist.
Teenaged X-Files obsession + Bermuda Triangle episode + Self-led school research project = Atheist.
