If Christianity ruled the county

RE: If Christianity ruled the county
Following precedents of previous theocracies (eg. England under Cromwell)
Widespread censorship, enforcement of church attendance with statutory fines, banning of sports, repression of minority religious groups - Jews, Muslims, Hindus, Catholics, etc. Witch hunts, replacement of medicine with faith-healing, replacement of education with religious indoctrination, public execution of non-conformists...

It might not be very pleasant. Compared to Europe the U.S. is a very religious country and mostly Christian. It this country were totally controlled by a Christian Government it would probably be similar to Saudi Arabia.

Mmmm... not really. The basics of our morality (don't kill, steal, lie, golden rule) far predate Christianity.

The Golden Rule predates Christianity by at least 2000 years in Hinduism. It was likely the earliest formed moral doctrine, far earlier.

The 10 Commandments AREN'T EVEN CHRISTIAN IN ORIGIN, they're lifted from Judaism, where they were likely absorbed from the Egyptian 42 Negative Confessions, and lifted by the Egyptians from other cultures.

Christians have nothing new when it comes to moral teachings or foundations. If anything, Christian morals are stolen outright from previously existant religions and cultures, just like they do with their doctrines, beliefs, rituals, holidays, and dogma.

This "foundation of morality" Christians present is nothing more than Eurocentric bullshit they've been allowed to spew for so long that people actually started believing it.

Is the bible belt really that big?

Read up what happened in England during the Commonwealth of England era from 1649-1660, when the "godly" Puritans were in charge. They were the Taliban of their day, which the same could be said for their compatriots who founded the the colony of Massachusetts.

Most of the English ones only declared war against their king (Charles I) because they thought he was a Crypto-Catholic who was undermining their religion, if Charles I had been a Puritan like one of them. These same people would have been (mostly) quite enthusiastic supporters of an absolute monarchy.
