My reasons are that we should not encourage self-harm, and also that children view this website. I think those images should be removed from the forum, and that pro-self harm content is considered not allowed, or at least not allowed outside of Area 69. This would not just be images, but would include discussion as well, eg. pro-anorexia, if the discussion is deemed to be pro-self harm (encouraging people to actually self-harm).

Damn it I just had to open that and I just got through saying if be happy if I never had to see those again. While I am personally fine with the discussion of suicide and I believe mentally competent adults should have the right to make that decision for themselves, I have to agree with you on the pictures. In this case he was apparently just trying to copy the guy from the movie but I found it really disturbing just the same.
