I have had some bad experiences with Telco providers, but Hughes takes the cake.

$100/month for 15GB of data at 10.0 m/s. And a 3 year contract. I had to pay over $300 to buy it out. Now I'm on ATT DSL at 3.0 m/s paying $29.99. Living in the country has it's perks, but there are drawbacks too.

I'd never move, but there are a few things that irk me out here. Can't bundle, internet has variable speed (really) landline is expensive, electricity is never less than $300/mo., county doesn't run snowplow out here except during regular working hours, like 9 to 4, M-F. If it snows Friday night, you're not going anywhere till after lunch on Monday.

Damn JWs found me a couple months ago. WTF they doing out here ??
