Well as far as my whole vision goes.. i picture it happening after everyone pretty much gets along. Realizes we are all humans and we should work together to better humankind.. A ridiculous concept i know but i still think its achievable in some shape or form. Regardless we will still be different, no one person is the same. Some of my best friends are far different from me yet we still get along and come to common goals in every day life.. I don't think it would be that hard with a well educated populace. As long as the goal was a good one that made sense. Sure there will always be nay sayers and people who would go against you.. But that's everyday life...

Oh...so this is a hypothetical question about imaginary circumstances?

Okay in my world where everyone gets along, the number 1 goal of mankind would be to domesticate octopuses and teach them to read and write with waterproof ink on waterproof paper.
On a side note my world would have free ice cream sundaes Wink

In a way, work towards world peace, but unfortunately many religious people are very afraid of world peace, because that's all antichrist/end times stuff. Still, equality and a better understanding of ourselves and our world should be the number 1 priority.

If all of humanity was equal would it really make things better or would it make things a lot worse? It might be worthwhile to strive for equality but it could be a disaster if it was ever reached.

Can you explain how? I'm not saying everyone needs to be the same. I'm saying people should treat everyone equally, regardless of their differences, as long as those differences don't harm others. I'm not sure how everyone having equal opportunities would prevent empathy.

Goal or priority? In essence, there is no goal for humanity other than to be, as it is not a true entity that is defined by ideals and therefore, goals.
Priorities that would ensure its survival can be the topic of discussion.
