RE: What's your current car/vehicle? And what's your fantasy car/vehicle?

I never got a license. Problems with anxiety and reflex (the latter even with hand controls). I did train for a while out of Sharp Rehab here in San Diego. I used an '85 Olds Cutlass, with hand controls. Looked pretty much like this (color, too, I think):
I am a bit of a car buff, but I get more excited by practical and historic cars than todays sports cars. To that end, I'd love a VW Golf...
...or, well...a VW Golf...
...or a Saab 99
If I needed cargo room, then a mid-80's Chevy van would be a lot of fun to have. Preferably white. I saw a mint condition white one in Silver Spring, MD once, parked at a bakery, IIRC. Unassuming, but very cool....like this.
NOTE: It's not letting me image tag any of these URL's for some reason. I'm not sure what the problem is. If mods want to fix it, be my guest. If not, no big.

Damn man, you have a nice taste in dream cars. An R8 and a Mclaren.

Yeah, that's why they're the preferred van of kidnappers and serial killers.

I can see it.
For those who can't, I currently have a red Honda Firestorm.

In the rest of the world, rallying is an elite, expensive motorsport. But here in the USA, it is somewhat grassroots. If I had the aforementioned older VW Golf, I'd love to modify it to go rallying, as in this short clip from Washington State: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ItBTgUr6jPo

Wife has a Prius (really - you need a picture?) in black so it doesn't look too bad.
I have a Hyundai Accent 1.3 Automatic from 2004:
Its been brilliant till now but it just failed its MOT for a variety of things including rear brakes, front shocks, bearings, front head lights and something else I can't quite understand (report is in Greek).
Anyway its booked to go in next week for repair and its going to cost. Worse - the cam belt is falling due for change too.
So that's my current car.
My fantasy car is basically the same car without all these goddammed fucking problems!!
Kuusi palaa, ja on viimeinen kerta kun annan vaimoni laittaa jouluvalot!
