How can you love Jesus when you have never met him? You have never heard his voice. You don't even know what he looks like.

We know him through his word much the same way a person might come to know their grandparents by reading the love letters they once wrote to each other.

In answer to yours, because I'm not just going to repeat that whole cycle like a moron, one can see the irrationality of a religious belief, and the harm it does, and question both of those, even point out that they're dumb, without hating one of the central figures of it or persecuting those involved.
