Let me clarify. Theists like Christians and Muslims believe God decides for them what is wrong and what is right in their Holy Books. As atheists, don't we decide this for ourselves, without resorting to God telling us what to do, we decide this for ourselves?

I believe a better way to phrase it would be: Atheists and/or secular humanists don't believe that a moral code comes in tablet form from on high, and believe that the best way to form a moral code and society is through discussion, reason, refinement, and evidence, not based on the word and whim of someone that has never even been proved possibly existent.
