Do you still accept the NT? And are you an agnostic Christian?

Christianity is true if and only if the god of the Old Testament is true.
The god of the Old Testament is false.
Therefore Christianity is false.

I'd prefer to say the bible is at least irrelevant if not flat out false.
Christianity is false if based on the bible, especially in any literal-crap way.
Therefore think what you like, but lose the smugness.

Isn't it freeing to use your brain to it's fullest extent? Just allowing yourself to think critically about this stuff is fantastic, Aractus.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I would say most people in the world lean towards agnosticism.
Talk to someone who says they believe in their faith long enough and you will often see they're actually more agnostic than anything else.
Likewise, most people who identify themselves as atheists are agnostic.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
