What's Going On Here?

Dear Folks,
It appears no matter what topic I post, thread I start, or question I ask that I get mocked, insulted, pooh poohed, or worse. I have been on this board for some time now and understand that my beliefs are not well received. However, it would be nice if people can agree to disagree without being rude and/or nasty. I am considering moving on if your ears are closed to me. Unfortunately, I would like to stay but I am going to post this survey to see where I stand.

Rev, your beliefs have nothing to do with how you are treated. The way you present and 'discuss' them is the problem. I put the word discuss in speech marks as it shouldn't really be used in your case, you don't discuss anything.

It's simpler than you think rev... Simply frame your discussions as if we were equals and consider and contrast them with your views. Dig deep into yourself and answer the questions honestly after deep thought. If your religion is true within you, no amount of self reflection or candidness would show anything else.

If members are going too far over the line for your taste: ignore them, and move on. Alternately, you could try reporting them, in particular in nasty cases like ahhh....
