I would have to agree. I have yet to find a religion that has truly not inflicted negative activity amongst the human race. Though I do not condemn all people or congregations for that matter, I still believe that their beliefs and bible should be quarantined.

Religion is doing the job it was setup to do thousands of years ago.
Namely, to allow societies to self regulate, self censor and police each other on all things moral.

To the point that this "club" doesn't recognise family or blood and treats everyone with the same disdain, from what I'm reading in other threads.

Religion is the most vile instrument of psychological warfare even devised!
It's perfect!

The only difference between belief in God and belief in Santa Claus is that eventually people stop telling you Santa Claus is real.

now to attempt turn this into an intellegent conversation.
Now if you think about it religion is very plague like. It can be very contagious and spread rapidly.
people are always being killed in its name.

I agree with you, and don't worry about the spelling, your only human.

Deity really think so?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

They are obviously full of shit.

So someone states they did not believe in God and then believed, seems quite the norm for the theists I have met.
But if we walk in the light, as He is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus, His Son, purifies us from all sin.
