Scottish independance?
Good or bad?

Forget the football/rugby etc.. but it has to be bad for these islands doesn't it?

The scots all Mel Gibson and patriotic macho, remembering learnt historical stuff getting worked up over nowt these days

They have oil (for how long?) and not much else....?

I hope the long term isn't us sending billions of pounds of "aid" to Scotland like we do to India, when India has it's on space program !

Good. The fewer the subjects of monarchs, the better.

Besides, I think weaker Britain is good for Europe in the long run.

Really? Braveheart is nearly 20 years old, and you think that has a bearing on the result of the referendum?

Scotland's economy is fairly sound. They generate more taxes per head than anywhere else in the UK, have a lot of tourism and some of the fastest growing cities in the UK (Aberdeen and Glasgow are improving in leaps and bounds). Also, Scotland has a good road safety record and is actually committed to keeping the NHS free for everyone.

Well I don't care how old braveheart is.. people remember such nonsence much longer!

And what is the future for big business in Scotland? why should firms go to Aberdeen and not London?

Smaller government means a government better serving its population. Scotland certainly didn't vote for the current UK government.
