I promise I will try. I've got the weekend with Shell to look forward to - apocalypse permitting - and driving lessons coming up, so things are actually looking brighter than they did just a few days ago.

Cue choruses of "I told you so" in 3... 2... 1...

Big Grin
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

If you think this is cheating, you should see me perform open heart surgery.

Reminds me of the hours I spent playing the old Amiga (and PC) surgery sim "Life & Death". Everything went fine, I was performing appendectomies and aortic aneurysm surgery like a boss. Right up until the time came to unclamp the arteries and restart the patient's bloodflow. Then every patient became John Hurt in Alien.

Haven't had that yet.

Hopefully won't see it, either.

Although I could point and say, "Ooooo, pretty colours!"

Just before the disciplinary hearing.

Oddly enough, that was the worst penalty you could get in the game - your boss telling you not to do it again and a quick refresher class in how to do it properly.

You can get a free copy of it for DosBox, if anyone's interested.

I'll have a look.

If the worst consequence was getting told off there'd be more surgeons.

Then, I know of a couple who seem to be incompetent but seem to be still practicing . . .
