It's a nonsensical question because I never suggested I did. I find somethings mysterious. Undoubtedly there's more mysterious things out there. But mysterious just means things we (or I in my specific case) can't explain.

Yes and that's right, there is a lot you and I cannot explain.

What I have shared I knew very well it wouldn't come over very well on an atheist forum, this is why I don't say much about it. Atheist need evidence. Even if I talked about the beauty of love, an atheist would degrade that to a mere emotion caused by chemicals in the body......do you see what I mean ?.
"Mere", you say? Your "mere" is just as wondrous to me as an explanation of "magic" would be to a believer of magic. It's an awfully momentous "mere" in my opinion.

You understand that, right? That the feeling of awe is not restricted to those who say "abracadabra".

And I never said it was, once we lose our aweness we are good as dead, we may not believe in a god, but at the same time there is a big mystery out there going on that we will never know of.

The only time we will lose our aweness is either when we choose to or there are no more mysteries. Considering how many people are interested in mysteries, the latter case is more likely.

Also, a mystery by itself does not have the same degree of aweness as when you discover how to explain the mystery away.

Yes then it becomes nothing more than knowledge, as if we have concord it, we can be so arrogant with our wonderful knowledge, thinking we know it all when in fact we still know nothing.

Here's the funny part. I'm ok with "I don't know." What I find arrogant is having to label "I don't know" with god or other woo about our specialness or connectedness to feel okay.
If there is a god, I want to believe that there is a god.  If there is not a god, I want to believe that there is no god.

Yes but that was my whole point, we just don't know, again that is the beautiful mystery.

You think because I now have the knowledge of an awesome phenomena I then robbed it of its aweness? Thats ridiculous.

Is it really ?......look at what people believe to be the source, call that god or whatever, don't you jump onto such things, and try to reduce it to a mere knowledgeable label, something you can get your teeth into ?.
