It seems like things have already calmed down.
I personally don't think that any future change in the forum could have prevented turmoil if it had been pre-implemented.
I also think that if someone volunteers their free time to become a mod, they shouldn't have to change who they are.

Some good people left the forum, but there are more good people who didn't.
I hope that now that the dust is settling that becomes more apparent.

Or what about - Everyone else in this thread has multiple kudos but no one has kudosed me and it makes me feel invisible.
I've actually felt that way before and it must be worse when you're the initiator of the thread itself. :-)

I reckon I've picked a few times when someone (often Beccs) has given a sympathy kudos, especially in the joke thread. :-)
