Anyone got explanations for these?

RE: Anyone got explanations for these?
@ paulpablo

We don't know what causes those things, therefore god exists.

But just in case you might get an ophthalmologist to look at the this

Quote:Another thing is when I look at a straight line I can get my eyes to sort of glide along the line if I go from left to right, but my eyes won't glide smoothly along the line from right to left.

I sounds like an oculomotor dysfunction, meaning your eyes don't track properly. Wink

I thought it might be something to do with reading instead, my eyes are used to going from left to right in a concentrated line but not the other way around.

Are you ready for the fire? We are firemen. WE ARE FIREMEN! The heat doesn’t bother us. We live in the heat. We train in the heat. It tells us that we’re ready, we’re at home, we’re where we’re supposed to be. Flames don’t intimidate us. What do we do? We control the flame. We control them. We move the flames where we want to. And then we extinguish them.

Impersonation is treason.

Might be. Who knows. I'm no doctor and certainly not an ophthalmologist. But our ophthalmologist recently told us some kinds of oculomotor dysfunction are evidence of disease, or caused as a side affect of medication. I'm not an expert and I wouldn't panic. But getting your eyes checked once in a while is a good thing, and I'd bring it up then. ---- Yes this is one of those, we just had something like this happen in our family and it turned out to be a real problem sort of things (also easily fixed). So it's at the top of my mind. For all I know you are right about the cause.

Did you happen to see a Demodex by any chance?
"Well, evolution is a theory. It is also a fact. And facts and theories are different things, not rungs in a hierarchy of increasing certainty. Facts are the world's data. Theories are structures of ideas that explain and interpret facts. Facts don't go away when scientists debate rival theories to explain them. Einstein's theory of gravitation replaced Newton's in this century, but apples didn't suspend themselves in midair, pending the outcome. And humans evolved from ape- like ancestors whether they did so by Darwin's proposed mechanism or by some other yet to be discovered."

A fair amount, I remember the first time I noticed this was when I was 10 or something

The first time I noticed this I was about 8 and I did actually have lice at the time and yes I could see them.

Demodex usually live near the hair follicles in the skin and only come out to procreate afaik, so slim chance to see them.
