RE: Nigga
I, personally, have no personal problem with that word. But I know a lot of other people do. I'd just as soon avoid the issues that come along with the word; the trouble that comes along with that word isn't worth it.

IMO, though, words only have as much power as society gives them. If people choose to get all worked up over certain words, we give those words power. If we learn to ignore them, we take that power back. I try to take power away from words.

Well put. Words themselves aren't hurtful, it's the intent behind them that matters. I prefer to avoid words that carry hurtful baggage.

His statement feels a bit hypocritical since I saw this vid pop up after yours finished:

Notice his liberal use of the world 'faggot.' Again, not that I personall have a problem with the word itself or with any of the many slurs that can be used to describe me. But it still feels really hypocritical for him to say white people can damn near never use one word while he throws the other around like it's going out of style.

Nothankyou.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

Why would I need to pick up a "street" word to mimic pathetic losers without jobs or ambition?

If I want people to think I'm a mental midget I'll quote jesus or mo.
