Now: Philae separation from Rosetta, waiting for confirmation

RE: Now: Philae separation from Rosetta, waiting for confirmation
Just wanted to share a piece of trivia with you.

In Europe that comet has been nicknamed "Tschuri". That's rather funny for us Austrians, since there's that certain slang word in our Eastern regions. "Tschuri" actually means "jizz". Even one of our largest dailies found that worthy of writing an editorial on that topic today. Pointing to a song by one of our most famous singer/songwriters called "Tschuri-Fetzen" which translates into the beautiful word "jizz rag".

The meek shall inherit the Earth, the rest of us will fly to the stars.

Never underestimate the power of very stupid people in large groups

Arguing with an engineer is like wrestling with a pig in mud ..... after a while you realise that the pig likes it!

They won't even notice. Do you really think, they're reading up on philae? It's not even American, so the republican gene won't kick in.

They'll notice when we start shoving it up their asses.

Then they'll start whining about those "socialists."

I'm going to wait until we get some confirmation as to what's actually been found before I get too terribly excited about it.

However, I do find the prospect of confirming the prediction that we ought to find organic chemistry on comets tantalizing.
