Minor note:

article mentions Limbaugh stating Scripture and capitalism saved the Pilgrims. Actually, the socialist tendencies of the pilgrims were derived from Scripture, so capitalism saved the pilgrims from Scripture.

And we all know (I hope), the pilgrims did not leave England to escape religious persecution, they left England to spread religious persecution.

Yes and no. I am sure that they left Europe to leave what they thought was persecution but yea, none of them came over here to set up a democracy, they came here to set up their own clicks.

Another way of putting it is that they loved religious freedom so much, they wanted to keep it all for themselves.
