Correct. To put it quite simply:

If the ball belongs to one boy: That is the boy's ball.

If the ball belongs to more than one boy: That is the boys' ball.

I have seen some people muck it up when it comes to words like children. Children is already plural, without the s. So, if the ball belongs to more than one child: That is the children's ball. Definitely not: That is the childrens' ball. (I have to admit that I would probably write "That ball belongs to the children.")
