Ah, come on, you know it is! You sexy beast!
Rhizo, I have taken your advice and I hereby propose "naturalistic transcendentalism". I'll have to practice some on the pronounciation 'cause it is pretty jaw breaking. But that in an odd way credits its importance for humanity Wink But before I start practising, can you please check whether it is taken already by some iron age tribal eye-for-an-eye relic of a religion.

PR,

Lol! by the way counting who agrees with you simply makes it an appeal to popularity but anyway, it appears that you have conceded that spirituality is probably not the best term for those awe-filled moments in our lives, or the backbone to our behaviors that somehow gives our life meaning. I like naturalistic trancendentalism, at the outset it seems a contradiction but given a little thought, becomes a good description that strips away and mistaken reference to anything outside the natural.

I rejoice at tarts too, but when you get them pregnant I bet you would agree that is something to lament.

I think it was Thag who spoke unto Ack-ack sayin', "Me feel trancendental, but not in naturalistic way. Ahura Mazda must be with us." Wink

Love developed in a evolutionarily way, to help bind us as a group/family and to help raise our children.
It is a successful evolutionary ploy.
What did you think it was?

A transcendental feeling of clarity which we humans have access to through connection and empathy.

I'm interested, exactly why would we develop love as a means of binding us together as a group or family? Look at elephants, they have quite a nice herd mentality, they protect each other quite well. They do not need love to do this. Why us?

How did you conclude that elephant to elephant care is something other than love?

Because animals don't have souls, and you can't love without a soul.

Duh.
