I love the song Rocky Raccoon. A friend showed it to me, and it inspired him to begin playing the harmonica. Tongue I think possibly The Beatles are the only band who's message is entirely consistent across the board.

You could be right. Whether that message is "love everybody" or "LSD makes us happy," I'm not sure, but their music sure does put me in a good mood.

I'm pretty sure the former was the message, but their was definitely an underlying bit of the latter in most...it doesn't get anymore blunt than Lucy, up there in the Sky with her Diamonds. XD

My favorite song of their's is Here Comes the Sun, written by Gerge Harrison. It's an amzing pickme-up

I could never pick a favorite, but lately I've been listening to "She's so heavy, "It's only love" and "Octopus' Garden." I don't think I can ever be in a bad mood while I listen to the Beatles.

I got way into 'Hey Jude' when I met my current girlfriend. Big Grin They have a song for everything, it's amazing..their last song together is extremely eerie, too. o.O

They really do have a song for everything. That song "If I fell" was a good one for the start of my most recent relationship.

I fancy myself a decent musician, and the music that has inspired me the most over the years have been the following artists:

Radiohead
Circa Survive
Godspeed You! Black Emperor
Mogwai
Sigur Ros
Thursday

If you have not checked out any of these bands, I humbly urge you to do so. You would only stand to gain. I'll post some responses with videos later to show you some notable jams from this awesome bands!
