I'm very shallow when it comes to movies, but whenever I adore the originals, prequels or sequels which spoil the canon of the originals piss me off, and the same might be true here. Prometheus comes to mind, matrix or chronicles of riddick. My standards however are not very high, for example, I like die hard 4 which everyone else seems to hate. Let's not talk about #5 though.
