Helen seems like a close fit, but I think Cate Blanchett would give her a run for her money.
I can't remember where this verse is from, I think it got removed from canon:

Yeah, while she's sometimes got a bit too much of an otherworldly quality (omg that woman!) compared to a down to earth character like hopper, I think blanchett could do her quirky pesonality better than the somewhat regal mirren.

Yeah, that woman is striking. I had a hard time finding a picture of her that wasn't so damn radiant, or as you said- so severely not of this world. The above was the best I could do.
That other picture of Grace in your post puts me to mind of a mix of Julia Roberts and Vera Farmiga. My brain ping pongs between recognizing both of their familiar traits in her face.

The other pic of the smoking woman is of Lise Meitner - a different animal altogether. She was the physics brain behind the discovery of Nuclear Fission. One of the greatest travesties of the nobel prize is that she was excluded when Hahn got his. A more graceful appearance than Grace superficially.

Ah, that would explain why she looks so different, and why I kept getting a different actress for her in my head.
