Nah, I think I'd rather stay here as I can get pretty nasty when I get angry. I've had atheists gang up on me too often only to have the administration back up the regulars against me.
So, let's keep it here where we all have to be AT LEAST relatively nice.
I just had a problem in a different atheist forum. I didn't get banned, but my topic thread was closed and I was given a stern warning because I verbally slapped around one of those ignorant atheists I was talking about.
HERE'S THE PM I JUST SENT TO THE ADMINISTRATOR OF THAT FORUM:
"I know it doesn't matter to you why I got so angry at that troublemaker HS, but I will tell you anyhow. The guy comes onto the topic thread I created with barely a brain cell intent to stir up trouble. So I did my best to slap him around! I'm not one to 'turn the other cheek' to trouble-makers. Not my style.
If you would have shared a link to the particular posts you were warning me about when you first issued the warning I would have changed my strategy. My options for slapping around a troublemaker in a forum like this are very limited. I have to use whatever tools I can get away with.
I would appreciate it if you would always share a link to whatever post you are issuing a warning about WHEN you issue the warning so that there will be no misunderstanding between us.
Thanks"
INTERMISSION:
I believe that truly classic 20th century jokes can be updated to make them relevant in the 21st century. Here's an example of what I mean:
Why did the chicken cross the road?
Give up?
To get away from the KFC slaughterhouse. Yeah, the chicken wasn't laughing either!

Suppose the book was called 'Basic Mathematics' or 'Introduction to Zoology'. Would you hold these suspect as well?
[Attn. Mods: I don't feel constrained by the 'be nice in the intro thread' rule, as this fella started off being a prat from go.]

Personally, I don't care what a book is called. If it has useful information that helps to better my life then I use what is useful and hold the rest in question or don't bother with it. I do not have a single book on basic mathematics. I just don't use math that often and I most certainly do not use algebra or calculus. So they are not useful to me AT ALL.
One should remember that just because SOME of the teachings of the Buddha are useful that doesn't automatically mean all the teachings are.
People can be so picky about the information they will use. The Buddha may have shared something absolutely true and useful, but if a Christian finds out it was the Buddha who shared it he summarily tosses it out as of the devil. These are the ways of the blind ignorant
"Power corrupts, and absolute power corrupts absolutely"
Are there signs, in the world, that if there is a God He is absolutely corrupted? Hmmmm.
