I don't see the point in "My country/state/master/god, ect, right or wrong. If something is wrong, you either try to fix it, or you abandon it. Society changes over time. You have to change with it, or you will die out. Using whatever power you have to maintain it will only delay the inevitable. Though in a particular Human's case, if they can maintain their power until the day they die, they may not care what happens afterwards.
