I was ready for some discussion about the 12 Patriots, maybe some talk about child soldiers and even some Shadow Moses vs Big Shell debate.
Hard to believe it's been more than 13 years since that game came out!
It's still my all time favourite game
Whoever fights monsters should see to it that in the process he does not become a monster. And if you gaze long enough into an abyss, the abyss will gaze back into you

I gave up after the first episode, not just because the history was over stylized in an attempt to recapture the success of Hatfields & McCoys, but also because it. Was. So. BORING. At least Vikings, for all its liberties, has interesting characters, great pacing, and exciting combat. Here they stretch things out so much to desperately justify the hour and a half running time.
Luke: You don't believe in the Force, do you?
Han Solo: Kid, I've flown from one side of this galaxy to the other, and I've seen a lot of strange stuff, but I've never seen *anything* to make me believe that there's one all-powerful Force controlling everything. 'Cause no mystical energy field controls *my* destiny. It's all a lot of simple tricks and nonsense.

It felt like over-glorified history, if you can call it that.

Just overly fucked-up history.
