PWAHAHAHAHAH! "The Christian Gamers..."

RE: PWAHAHAHAHAH! "The Christian Gamers..."
Christians are so cute, the way they desperately want to appear "hip", "cool", or - you know - "normal", yet completely fail to grasp the fact, that their "brand name", associated behaviors and ideals instantly shatter any such illusions.

This sounds like a magazine that used to come to our house when I was a child, that was put out by "Focus on the Family." They would review movies, music, and games based on the same criteria. Shit is hilarious now though I unfortunately didn't know any better at the time.

so a place called ChristCenteredGamer reviews exist...

They do game reviews, and base it...wait for it!
NOT SOULY ON HOW GOOD THE GAME IS, BUT WHETHER IT FOLLOWS THE FUCKING BIBLE
Oh and they have fan minecraft and TF2 servers just incase you want to:
"play online in a friendly and cussing free environment? Play with fellow Christians on our servers! "

I would be angry, but this is fucking amazing
oh and just if you were wondering, they rated HuniePop (That weird Anime Dating sim)
this:

“As a Christian, I cannot recommend this game to fellow believers.”
Christ Centered Gamer

and for some reason its at the front of the steam page...
Im done, leave your thoughts below

Am I missing something, or is this wholly predicated on circle jerking over the fact they're doing game reviews on basis of their ideology?

It's hard seeing through the smog smug.

That sounds extraordinarily boring.

Your missing something, they don't review the game, but how it follows there religion

You wouldn't see IGN go "This game is AMAZING! But we disagree with short skirts so we'll give it a 5"

actually, nvm, you probably would see IGN doing that..

I stumbled across of a few of these religious groups on battlelog. Though hilariously in an attempted to see how battlefield 4 performed playing on high ping servers we joined a US based one for a couple of rounds. After 5 minutes one of our group was kicked for having an offensive image.

Its this:

Of all the swastikas and pornographic junk that you see when people are allowed to pick their own emblem apparently this was crossing the line..

It was, the strategy was to load"" the game, then go on a bike ride while it loaded.

Time better spent than to hear those "yehaahh" feedback the tapes gave. I actually tried to make sense of it once.

I actually found the Speccy loading tones quite musical; I got so as I could practically read the game just from hearing it.

The Angry Video Game Nerd famously (and hilariously) reviewed a few bible-themed games:

At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'
