I've never met a truly "tolerant" Christian.

The Church of England seems to be a strange branch of Christianity that overall tends towards tolerant.

Intolerance in the USAs religion seems to me to be an excuse.

They will accuse their homophobia on the bible but I suspect if the bible had nothing to say on the matter they would still be homophic and blame it on something else.

I mean they blame anti Semitism on the bible and Jesus was supposed to be king of the jews.

The environment is the only distinction between those terrorists and some evengelical pastors. It's frowned upon in our legal system to go out and kill someone. But the wish is there, especially when it comes to gays, as is proven by repeated and televised sermons. Also the wish to discriminate against everyone not agreeing with them.

Another forum I post at uses purple text to denote sarcasm. I detest the convention, as it drastically limits chain-yanking possibilities.

It's a funny thing, I just read an article about Anti-Muslim "Christians" protesting on Islam Day in Oklahoma. They were saying how America is a Christian nation and all that basic B.S. that they like to spout out. I do know a few weeks ago I got into a debate with a Christian friend and he told me to keep my wimpy atheism to myself. But what's funny or ironic is that on a daily basis he's trying to get people to join his religion.

Did those Christians behead any Muslims, no, has ISIS that claims to be Muslim beheaded Christians, yes. Now! who is intolerant. Everyone in this country has a right to protest and as long as it's peaceful it's lawful. Muslim have been killing fellow Americans, an atheist in the U.S. killed Muslims, tell me who's intolerant. I think it's prudent that you understand what tolerant and the right to express one's beliefs are.

Your friend dealt with you and then moved on to witness to others, what possible reason would you have to be upset, he/she is doing what they believe in, don't you do the same.

Your wrong the Constitution was set up for the Christian, atheist, the I don't knows and all other religious groups, if it were secular as you say it would deal with religions in a disgraceful way, it doesn't do that. Seems you are the one who needs to read the Constitution of the United States of America and not your version of it. Many good men and women have died in defense of it, you should learn to have respect for it.
