I see we can add "secularism" to the list of things you don't understand.

You can fix ignorance, you can't fix stupid.

I think it's ludicrous that some Christians actually have this mindset!

I do know a few weeks ago I got into a debate with a Christian friend and he told me to keep my wimpy atheism to myself. But what's funny or ironic is that on a daily basis he's trying to get people to join his religion.

Did those Christians behead any Muslims, no, has ISIS that claims to be Muslim beheaded Christians, yes. Now! who is intolerant. Everyone in this country has a right to protest and as long as it's peaceful it's lawful. Muslim have been killing fellow Americans, an atheist in the U.S. killed Muslims, tell me who's intolerant. I think it's prudent that you understand what tolerant and the right to express one's beliefs are.

Your friend dealt with you and then moved on to witness to others, what possible reason would you have to be upset, he/she is doing what they believe in, don't you do the same.

Welcome to the forum.

God loves those who believe and those who do not and the same goes for me, you have no choice in this matter. That puts the matter of total free will to rest.

Words are hard.

Even if the country was "founded on christian values" (which it wasn't), who cares? Things change, things improve. Some people want to keep moving away from the dark ages.

Fuck self-entitled christians.

This is borne out of ignorance, of course and lies spread by the likes of Dan Barton. Some of them are liars themselves, who actually know better but help spread these lies. I think most of them are victims of the lies, though. They have been snowed themselves. We should look upon them as opportunities. Point them in the direction of truth. Challenge them to read the Constitution and see for themselves that it is an entirely secular document. This is one of the easiest ways to expose the Christian, fucking liars for what they are.

I served in defense of it, you fuckstain, so don't lecture me about that. You obviously need to read the fucking dictionary.

I could post the definition of secularism right now, and 5 minutes later someone would still be equating it with atheism, or evolution or christ knows what.

It's hilarious how much the Establishment Clause pisses off Christians online, so much so that they have to compare themselves to terrorists in order to look good.

It's reason that deals the disgraceful death blow to religion which it so richly deserves, not secularism.

The environment is the only distinction between those terrorists and some evengelical pastors. It's frowned upon in our legal system to go out and kill someone. But the wish is there, especially when it comes to gays, as is proven by repeated and televised sermons. Also the wish to discriminate against everyone not agreeing with them.
