Just finished the "Kitty Norville" series by (local author) Carrie Vaughn. Most of it was a re-read (listen), except for the new one, "Kitty Saves the World." A fantastic finish to one of my favorite urban fantasy series. What's not to love about a werewolf named Kitty who hosts an occult call-in radio talk-show?!?

Still working my way, reluctantly through the last Terry Pratchett book. Knowing it's the end of the line makes me take big gaps between reading chapters.

I just finished Pepper Pace's Wheels of Steel series. 4 out of 5. About a Rockstar with CP and girlfriend with a learning disability and Chrone's disease. I really thought the couple was sweet but speaking from personal experience relationships between some with high IQ and a learning disability and rarely work out. And it got a little preachy on the struggles of a interracial relationship.

That's the same way I feel about Robert Asprin's "Myth" series. They're incredible fun, but knowing there will never be any more make we want to stretch them out.
The last Mitch Rapp book by Vince Flynn came out a short while ago. This is another that I will take my time with since Mr. Flynn is also no longer among us. Not even fifty either.

Read "The Martian" by Andy Weir and loved it. Much better than the movie.
Now reading "The Girl in the Spiders Nest," which is the new Lisbeth Salander book. About 1/3 of the way through, and next to nothing has happened.
"There remain four irreducible objections to religious faith: that it wholly misrepresents the origins of man and the cosmos, that because of this original error it manages to combine the maximum servility with the maximum of solipsism, that it is both the result and the cause of dangerous sexual repression, and that it is ultimately grounded on wish-thinking." ~Christopher Hitchens, god is not Great

I've only read Myth Conceptions and all I can really remember is the description of a unicorn and another creature playing tag.
Must go back and read those.

I listened to the audio of "Another Fine Myth" at work and my co-workers thought I had lost my mind with all the laughing.

NOOOO!!!

Don't say that, I want it to be good so badly...
EDIT: I just remembered, tho, that all the books seem to start out badly/slowly, so maybe there's still hope?
