That's an absolutely splendid question, for it exposes a hole in my presentation, namely that the probability has to be per a time scale. But which one? I shall think on it.
P.s. for my example of air molecules gathering in one half of a box, it works as is cause it's the probability to find it in that state at any given time , not a probability for an event to occur per time. for the jumping stone we need a time scale, bc we are giving the frequency of an event. probably something related to the velocity of molecules and size of the object or so
