The big crunch.
So a brief overview of what you are about to read. Considering all the expansion of the universe is getting faster and faster it will reach a critical point to where it cannot expand anymore until the point where it collapses in on itself. What i take away from it, Its the most less depressing of the big chill, the big rip, black holes. Out of all of those i am actually happy its ending by collapsing in on itself. More or less hell we might be around having this conversation again maybe who knows maybe we have already because well consciousness is something we really do not understand yet.

RE: The big crunch.
They did a Red Dwarf episode about this, "Backwards" I think it was called, in series 3. A comical take on it of course. They'd returned to an Earth where time was running backwards following a big crunch.
