I don't think you were trying to apologize for the cop, brakeman, but I do think believing that race wasn't a factor here is naive. People can have prejudices against black people without actually having hatred for them. I've seen it quite a bit. I'm sure this guy probably thought he could get away with it because the man was black, too. I mean, who isn't going to believe that a black man went for his taser?

Quote:Distopia's comment too is ridiculous, calling me an apologist when I merely state the factual observation that the cop did not give outwardly racist cue's during the first video's stop. Not everything in the world is race based, and racism is not the only hatred around.
You guys must live in extremely Lilly white enclaves to believe that black people only have racist encounters with anyone else.
Funny thing is I didn't even read your comment and wasn't replying to you but simply to apologists that pretend western societies aren't racist - You must have a complex of persecution or something else, stop thinking I actually care about what you think.
And yes, black people can have lots of racist encounters, are you black to actually know how it's like to live in western societies as black?
What is a racist cue for you? do you know the difference between institutionalized racism and mere prejudice based on race? Do you know how many blacks are shot compared to whites, even unarmed ones? Do you know that 40-50% of blacks in the US will go to jail and part of them only committed less serious insignificant crimes that aren't considered crimes in the rest of the free world? Do you know the huge profit and manipulation behind the USA's mass incarceration that arrests more people than the super democratic Republic of China that possesses close to 2 billion people? Why should your little observation about the cop even matter? Is running away punishable by death? If so, does that mean people shouldn't immigrate to America? Do you think cops have too much power?
