Constant, ceaseless exposure to the internet and all the content therein has left me practically unable to watch TV for more than 20 minutes at a time.
"What do you MEAN I have to wait for the next programme?"
"What the...the program is interrupted every 15 minutes by some z-list actors whoring their souls away to sell products? The hell you say!!"
"THERE ARE ONLY A FEW HUNDRED CHANNELS AND THEY ONLY SHOW CERTAIN THINGS AT CERTAIN TIMES? HOW THE FUCK DID YOU COPE IN THOSE DAY?!?!?"

Especially since commercials are mixed so much hotter than the rest of the programme (they are continually as loud as the loudest part of a movie).
I've stopped watching regular TV in 2001...
