1)  How much more helpless one feels with ones hands tied in back rather than in front.

I can't speak for Min, but I'll definitely be imaging those things all night.
At the age of five, Skagra decided emphatically that God did not exist.  This revelation tends to make most people in the universe who have it react in one of two ways - with relief or with despair.  Only Skagra responded to it by thinking, 'Wait a second.  That means there's a situation vacant.'

Not that big a deal.  I was a bit disillusioned after student teaching anyway and this was the early 70's.  The only places that were hiring new teachers were inner-city schools and I was married by then and my wife was resistant to the idea of going there to work. 

Yes, I am retired.
