Actually, the Arnold-type terminator was '...living tissue over a metal endoskeleton'.  If a particular issue of that model survived long enough, it makes perfect sense that it would eventually look like a 67 years old Austrian.

I just watched it guys...

My opinion as a big Terminator fan.
Bloody shithouse. 5/10 would be generous. The worst of the lot.
Real bad acting (even Emilia Clarke was 2 dimensional and unconvincing)
Absolutely pathetic story line. (You thought the theists were good at word salad!)
Absolutely no emotional connection to any of the characters.
I'm pissed off ... I wanted it to be better, even just for the franchise's sake.

Saw it as well, thought it absolutely blew. So sad, too, as the first two movies were so amazingly creative and cohesive.
