Certainly is. I won't lie, sometimes I get sucked in to a new video game for too long (still a 12 yr old boy at times) but if I don't get exercise I certainly feel crummy. I won't lie though, sometimes it takes a day or two to recover after playing football/basketball. I still feel like I'm 17, but my body not-so-kindly reminds me I'm 35.
I agree too that it's a lifestyle for me. I love running, and cross fit, mainly. But, once you find something you really enjoy doing, it doesn't feel like a chore. And then the good eating habits kinda follow suit, you view food as fuel and not just as something to pleasure yourself with. Not to say, I don't indulge...this holiday season, I went a little overboard with wine and spirits. But, maybe just start somewhere with an activity you can see yourself doing 3x per week, and go from there.
