The people you leave behind will remain, the memories you share will remain, the lov eyou create will last on forever. Whether or not a whole bunch of people know who you are is irrelevant. As long as the one person who counts(you) loves you, you're fine.
I really don't give a flying fuck about whether people think that I'm mediocre or not. I think that comes with age. When I was younger I was a lot more sensitive about others opinions.

For a lot of people,including myself,there seems to be a time in middle age when one looks at oneself very critically. You look at your big mistakes, missed opportunities, and unfulfilled potential. You get very upset. Within a few years, you'll probably get over yourself. I did ,at least in that sense. Today I'm content day to day,mostly. I try to limit my concerns to things over which I actually have some control. The past does not fit into that category. I'm also far less concerned about what others [especially anonymous others or people I don't like]] think about anything. |
