The Gentile thing?  Aren't both the British and the Nigerians "Gentile"?  Doesn't it just mean anyone that isn't Jewish?
It's used in the Bible to mean non-believers (basically everyone who isn't a Jew).  So it's certainly ethnocentric bigotry.
