So did you check them out? It's always nice to find others with similar backgrounds. Being an atheist is much harder in some parts of the world. But even without the threat of being beheaded it is certainly easier being a white atheist in America, like me. But if you are black or Arab and an atheist it has to be even harder.
Most I get is ", Commie," or " You are going to burn in hell". Black atheist is more likely to be shunned by family and community, and even if you were still a Muslim, your background is seen as suspect.
The funny part when religious people worldwide accuse an atheist of bigotry is when they do that after you point out those in their camp whom left.
