I agree, trust me, I've tried it. It took me 25 years to learn it and I'm 27. I'm a novice polite liar. May explain some of my activity on these forums for years.

Excluding a couple of silly things. I must have lied about as a kid that I can't even remember.

Made it easy to think of what to say though. Explains why until my activity decreased I was by far the most active forum poster for years, that plus my typing speed. And my posts weren't always small either, some were huge. Lol.

'Just kidding' /sarcasm jokes I am also not counting.

I hate liars, but of course there are times where lying is the best way to go, IMO.

I think there could be a few situations in life where lying is acceptable, and probably wise.

However, I think that in general lying is not a good call. Much better to be open and honest than lie and
A. get caught in the lie
or
B. harbor negative feelings instead of resolving an issue on the spot.
