What's your favourite movie?

MST3k is one of my all-time favorite shows. Even though it never aired on TV in my country, after I watched the movie once, I found the mst3k archive on the internet and watched hours of it. It is brilliant stuff.

Yeah, I watched it faithfully every Sunday afternoon with my son for years. I haven't laughed that hard since those days.

The problem with "the Movie" was that they used "This Island Earth." That was a little too good of a movie. They needed something like Invasion of the Neptune Men, The Horror of Party Beach, or The Giant Spider Invasion to really get going.

EG I've gone right off 'Gone With The wind' and 'Citizen Kane' Now,a few as they come to mind, not in any order: All Quiet On The Western Front ( the original) Casablanca Zulu Lawrence of Arabia Forbidden Planet Starship Troopers Invasion Of The Body Snatchers (original) Blade Runner Total Recall Snatch Schindlerl's List The Pianist The Uprising Katyn Das Boot Black Book (directed by Paul Verhoeven) La Vita e Bella (Life is beautiful) Bonnie and Clyde To Kill a Mockingbird. Miller's Crossing Goodfellas Casino The Godfather trilogy All Indiana Jones except "Temple of Doom" Just about anything by Ingmar Bergman, favourite; The Seventh Seal. Just about anything by Akira Kurosawa. Favourite,; Rashomon, one of the most perfect movies ever made in my opinion. A LOT of Alfred Hitchcock movies. Singin' In The Rain,best musical. The Kid (Charlie Chaplin) Best documentary I've ever seen; Planet Earth. Kingdom Of Heaven Arthur The Last Legion. Recently: Cult classic; The Man From Earth. If I had to pick one, it would be three LOTR. I also enjoy K-Pax, Hitchhicker's Guide to the Galaxy, Return of the Living Dead, Galaxina, Dr. Strangelove, The Illusionist, Full Moon High, Debbie Does Dallas, Killer Klowns From Outer Space, Little Big Man, Heavy Metal (when stoned) , Plan 9 From Outer Space (when passed out), and about 5 seconds from Basic Instinct. Right now my favorites are stinkers. The local Movie Gallery went out of business and I bought a few hundred movies. I have opted to write reviews for movies on the Amazon as a way to develope some creative writing skills.

They do alot of acid humor. Happy trails.
