Beats lifting nothing ten times a day! Big Grin

By the way, here is a photo of my home gym setup:

As you can see, there is a ghetto squat rack built directly into the frame of the shed and also a deadlift platform on the floor. In the rear is my Powertec Multi-system that I got on the cheap from Craigslist. Not pictured is my pullup bar. Also, you can see my trap bar on the deadlift platform. If you have preexisting back issues but still want to deadlift, trap bar deads are a fantastic option. I still use a straight bar for my deads, but I use the trap bar every now and then to change things up.

My TKD instructor recommended it. I like bodyweight conditioning because IMO it maintains functional strength better than weight training. I have a brother-in-law who was always into fitness. When he was ~65 he said I can still bench press what I was doing 20 years ago, but my functional strength has really declined. That's kinda stuck with me.

I worked the CC program a few years ago and enjoyed real gains in functional strength. I think it's a terrific program, and I like that one can do it anywhere. Long story short: I had some health issues and personal turmoil and "fell off the wagon" and so lost the gains I'd made. But I'm going to resume training over the autumn/winter and hope to get back to where I was by summer.

Have you checked out the CC2 book? I'm curious about it but haven't purchased it.

I'd be too ashamed to post a video or pic of the amount of weight I can lift. Tongue

Maybe somebody burlier and manlier with a higher testosterone count than me can post a cool lifting video.

Rexbecca the dude-bro.

I likes.
