Kudos to all! Yeah. After I did a little digging on my own I figured out I had been lied to all my life! Until I got the internet I had pretty much accepted the fundamental jargon I had been fed all my life. Then, other things like all this praying crap that don't work and nothing ever changes. As most of you know its faith based religion! Ben Franklin once said "Show me your cemeteries and I will tell you what kind of people you have." Same could be said for religion in general. Accepting things on fact is one thing, accepting things on myth is a whole other story and thats what religion is faith based on myth not fact.
Is a truth a fact tho'? The golden rule : "treat others as you'd like to be treated" ...is that good or bad? If a religion were based on identical truth would that be acceptable or not?

No. For 1600 years Christianity as been lauded as truth and its all lies based on myth. God is an image created by man in his own mine. Thats the reason no one can prove a God or not. He only exist in the mines of those who have faith. Religion is not acceptable in any form as long as it promotes the things it does. Its the cause of most wars, it promotes prejudiced, its greedy, and the rest well ask the Catholic church about the child molesting incidents.
I sense a lot of anger in you. Epic XD

"There ought to be a term that would designate those who actually follow the teachings of Jesus, since the word 'Christian' has been largely divorced from those teachings, and so polluted by fundamentalists that it has come to connote their polar opposite: intolerance, vindictive hatred, and bigotry." -- Philip Stater, Huffington Post
