A question

RE: A question
Mind if I give it a go?

Say you live this town.
The town's powerful leader comes into your home one day and ass-rapes you with a dildo dipped in syphilis. A couple of weeks later, you're diagnosed with (surprise) syphilis. The town's powerful leader says that you should be beaten, tarred, feathered and buried alive because you're horribly disgusting and diseased. He then offers to give you the antibiotics needed to be cured, provided that you apologize for being filthy/diseased, and agree to be demonstrably appreciative in acknowledging his great kindness.

How would you feel about this guy?

RE: A question
Hmm. I'd say he loves me very much.

How would feel about a guy who goes around breaking the legs of babies in a special way that never properly heals, and then makes a fortune selling crutches?

I'd hate them both! That's just crazy talk!

Your father walks into your room and he glaring at you. You sit there doing nothing minding your own
business he then walks over to you and beats the ever loving shit out of you and asks that you pray to him for forgiveness
because your great great great grandfather stole a apple.  After he finishes beating you and he says he loves you
the next time he beats you would you A. deny the punishment B. accept the punishment.

You do understand that your analogy does not reflect what is going on in Christianity. To fix your analogy you would be the apple thief who does not/will not stop stealing apples

You "forgot" the part where dear old Dad has a microchip implanted in his brain at birth that programs his son to steal apples.  Rolleyes

You just refuse to acknowledge that crucial element of the story, don't you?
