Muslim Immigration & the Fall of Europe

RE: Muslim Immigration & the Fall of Europe
Wasn't Don Quixote the only one that fought windmills? Or were you using a metaphor based on this rather than being literal?

On second thought, there is one more thing to say. We have a muslim population of 4 to 5 percent. Serious estimates speak of about 10 percent in the year 2050 - so in 35 years.

I wonder if the scaremongers and hate vendors even bother to check their figures before firing up their bullshit machines.

Just as a metaphor, elaborating that is "imaginary/fake enemies". The governments are well aware (at least certain sectors of them) especially the big players in the "war on terror", yet the citizens are the ones I met with my example.

Also, the only relationship between ISIS and the migrants is that ISIS is the main reason migrants are coming to Europe in the first place.
There are Cubans in ISIS.  The US loves Cubans.

RE: Muslim Immigration & the Fall of Europe
I can't get over how the rednecks in America have seen the events in Paris and flow of immigration into Europe like some kind of disaster porn. It's like they are not-so-secretly wanting their apocalyptic visions of Europe to come true so that they can feel justified in their own bigotry, all the while not realising that European countries have their own cultural values and histories vastly different to America.

So just to dispel some myths that have been floating about.

We've experienced terrorism before (we know that life goes on).

No, European countries aren't going to suddenly relax their gun laws and the populations aren't going to want to immediately arm themselves (we like living in first world countries).

Yes, there may be some tensions and fear (obviously) but just as many are understanding and accepting of genuine refugees fleeing from war.

What you've said is true but how and will you be able to deal with it when conflict breaks out in Europe as it has in the Middle East and in Africa?  The refugees are bringing their historical problems with them and now the pot has a lot more racial and cultural beans in the soup.  All hell will break out within a generation.

What I don't get is, you, and your brethren in tinfoil, don't seem to be able to do something as simple as inform yourself on the facts. And by that I don't mean the Alex Jones variety, but demographics, statistics and the likes.

I may repeat myself, but it seems to go over your heads. In Europe, depending on country, we have a muslim population of 4 to 5 percent. Estimates say, it will climb to ten percent by the year 2050. Religiously motivated terror, according to Europol statistics, are at 3 to 4 percent of all terrorist attacks on European soil. And that's not even singling out Islamistic terror, just religious terror.

Also, what have the refugees to do with the terror in Paris? The Perps were French and Belgian citizens, not immigrants turning 5th column.

If nationality is due to bloodline, then most terrorists aren't French. If it is due to culture, then no terrorists can be French because French culture is against this kind of barbarism. So are they really French? Under what criteria? There's a difference between, for example, being French by birth right and living with French culture, and being part of a family that never really integrated itself fully. I'm honestly expecting a thoughtful reply here.

The terrorist's mum was Portuguese, I saw that in a newspaper - I don't really care as I'm sure it wasn't his mom who told him to be a terrorist, but I can honestly say that the majority of Portuguese children would agree with me that their children are not French.
