Barking Up The Wrong Wall?

I had a quick look at this this morning.

Have to read it more in depth when I get a few minutes.

At the moment I'm following the heat scans of the pyramids.

It was Ernest Martin who made a career out of challenging the location of the temple and he had interesting reasoning for his opinion.  The problem with Martin was that he was a xtian fundie and suffered the problem of all fundies:  He thought this shit was real and "unchanging" and we know that judaism adapted constantly...pretty much every time some new conqueror kicked their asses.

It's pretty sad a pile of ruins can still elicit such suerstitious veneration after 2000 years of dilapidation.

A friend who went with me to the UK years ago whined about being "dragged from one pile of rubble to another" because I insisted on visiting a number of archaeological sites.

That's pretty sad. Bad enough that people are killing each other over "holy" ground, but they're not even dying for the correct holy ground?
