New intellectual Atheist website

Hello everyone,
I've recently started an academically based Atheist website ([redacted]) and am looking for content writers and contributors. There is compensation per article, but keep in mind that the website is currently in its infancy. If you have an academic background and an aptitude for writing about religion, please get in touch via the website.

Still, registering and advertising straight away is against the rules.

I'm just trying to create a site that accommodates polarising topics of discussion in the religious realm. I'm not trying to sell anything here and I'm certainly not profiting from any of this.

My content is conducive to reason and logic-I don't see why this is an issue. I'm not advertising some garish Xmas lights or a jumbo pack of lighters. Nonsense.

Incidentally, this is the precise reason the rule exists.
It weeds out users who join the community solely to take from it rather than add to it. You clearly have no use for us other than to gain writers for your website, so we'll equally have no use for you.

The reason why is because there's no exceptions for your sort of site.
Would you tolerate someone who joined your site and their very first post violated your rules?
It's common courtesy.

We get a number of people who sign on just so they can promote their own sites/materials/whatever, and then never post again.
We have this rule to discourage such promotions and to encourage people to participate on this site.
As such, we're fairly strict on this rule.
